we rented a car in London and drove out to Stratford-Upon-Avon (birthplace of William Shakespear) and to the Cotswalds. 
We also drove to Stonehenge which was very cool to see.

London, England
We traveled to London and had a GREAT time. Tons of things to do and see (here is a small sample)

Normandy, France
We rented a car in France and drove out to Normandy to see Omaha beach and other areas
We found a castle in our tour book, so we decided to make the 4 hour drive and it was well worth it!! You can only go up to the castle during certain times of the day because the tide comes in and covers the road. Luckily, we made it just in time.
Paris, France
we traveled to Paris. We loved sitting at the coffee shops and "people watch". There are SO many pictures of Paris, so these are just a tiny sample...
Top of the Swiss Alps!
To get up to the top of the Swiss Alps, we took the Jungfraubahn, which consisted of 3 separate trains. The top one had tracks like a roller coaster, so the train could "click" into place and not slide.

Interlaken, Switzerland

We traveled to Interlaken, Switzerland. It is located in the Bernese Oberland (which is part of the Swiss Alps)
Oh, and a random Hooters in Interlaken
At night, we were walking down the street and these two boys broke out their Alpenhorns and decided to play some tunes. It was VERY cool to see (and hear)

Vienna, Austria
We went to Vienna, which we thought we beautiful, but a little boring. Luckily, we only went for the day, so we walked around a lot and then hopped onto an earlier train.

Prague, Czech Republic
we traveled to Prague, which was a BEAUTIFUL city!!

Munich, Germany
We went to Munich, Germany, which was probably one of our favorite cities. We went to the Hofbrauhaus, which is a famous beer hall. The glasses were enormous! Mine was half beer / half lemonade (yum!). They had a band and people got up and danced on the tables.
We also went to Marienplatz, which is a popular square where people gather during certain times of the day watch the clocks put on a little show
